Good Evening Parents,
I am Bruce Hamlin and will be recalling the events of the day for you. On this, the 13th of July, 2004 our Saas Fee camp draws to a close. Our enlightening and powerful time here has been well spent. Courtney and Lillian have been amazingly helpful. Everyone's skiing has improved tenfold.
The days and nights spent among our comrades in arms have been well spent. Just today we played a rousing and majestic game of volleyball. With the unstoppable Hamlin-Brockman team broken up the games outcome was anyone's guess. The first game was a form of cruel punishment, the Hamlin, Calise, Kumer team dominated the net with a 15-1 victory. Though the next two games, due to unfair calls, ended up in close defeats:17-15 and 32-30. Many hearts were broken and tears were shed. The fourth and final game went the way of the good guys(my team). Even though some elbows were thrown and band aids administered, the Calise, Hamlin duo scored the winning point 117-115. Despite the rough and dirty play of Ross Brockman, Marina Chiasson, and especially Lillian The Good Guys proved victorious.
P.S. We trained Giant Slalom today. It was fun.
Have a wonderful few days until your kids get home,
Sincerely,
Bruce K. Hamlin

At 6 22 AM, I, Casey Gilman awoke to the sound of the ever so annoying alarm. beep beep beep beep beep it made its sound.I scattered from my bed and threw open the curtains to see the crystal, blue sky. The sun shone for the first time in days. There was not a cloud in the sky and we were ever so eager to get on the slopes. Eating an average breakfast and throwing on my tight GS suit, I hustled for the gondola. The ride flew by faster then lightning as we enjoyed a harmless conversation with a couple Scotish HOTTIES. AFter our breath taking ride up, we quickly put on our wet wet boots and rushed to the slopes. The snow was like marshmellows. It felt fluffy and smooth underneath my stiff boards of color. The GS course was undescribable. Lillian and Courtney had set another sensational course. After a few runs on this tiring yet satfisfying run, it was time for some free skiing before the end of the trip. Around noon we headed down for a yummy soup salad meal lunch with hotel owner peter. YUM it was good, as the potatoes scurried down my throat following a brief sip of PETERS FRESH WATER.
Currently, we have enjoyed some packing followed by duck taping and are now off for some last minute spending (we have to spend EVERYTHING!!!!!)just kidding. We all look forward to seeing you tomorrow!!!!! Bye for now
Best dreams to all, Casey Gilman
