Check out Dress as a Faculty Member Day, some great pictures.
The first picture is of Polly with the kids in her Dorm after the lip synch contest. Unfortunately, Polly was away racing and was unable to practice the routine, but she was there to cheer on her team.

Then on Sunday night, Weld changed it's face again to become a spruced up restaurant-club for a Valentine's Day Dinner-Dance extravaganza. The kitchen prepared a wonderful meal, complete with chocolate fondue, and the faculty did all the jobs so that all the students could partake in the dinner. Following the dinner, Weld was filled with festive music and spirited dancing.
Casino Night at Holderness
This weekend was packed with lots of mid-February appropriate activities. On a very cold (0 degrees with lots of wind) Saturday night, Weld looked more like a Casino in Las Vegas than our dining hall.
The Winter Carnival 2006
In an effort to keep the winter doldrums at bay and celebrate the snow (well, what there is of it right now), the school sponsors a week of fun every mid-winter, with dormitories going head to head in friendly competition. The events vary widely, from the "Barton Olympics" (involving the pushing, throwing, and eating of M&Ms, marshmallows, and pies respectively) to a nordic/snowshoe relay competition around the quad.

The White Out Dance
The first weekend back in the winter is always the "White Out" dance. Everyone dresses in white, the black lights come out, and the entire school goes to the Weld Student Lounge to dance and hang out.
