Planter

Jack constructed and painted this fabulous planter for me. It is exactly what I wanted for the the terrace. Jack and Noreen drove down from Maine on Sunday to bring the planter, we were lucky to find the lovely geraniums this late in the season.

I absolutely love it!

I kept my horse in the 1960's at Braefield Farm when Miss Ellenor who was secretary of the Alumnae Fundat Bryn Mawr college owned the farm. She called it Brae-field farm.Previous to Miss Morris living there the John B Thayers lived there. I rode with their daughter Emily. They built a home on Yellow Springs Rd. adjacent to Brae-field. In the winter photograph of Bradfield farm on your blog, directly over the spring house in the distance is where my parents lived from 1964 to 20012.I remember that when I wanted to go riding in the big field in front of the farm I had to go out the end of the barn where there was a garage door. I had to hold on to my horse, open the garage door and try not to get attacked by the mean roosters. Miss Morris was quite a character and a very kind and lovely lady.
