An Oldie But A Goodie

I was looking to see if the Braefield Farm website had been picked up by google yet and hit upon this old entry on the Holderness Website. I hadn't seen this before, I don't think Carrie has either.

The Advanced Spanish Prize
Carrie Evans has taken four years of Spanish at Holderness, finishing in the AP Spanish Language course. Her unfailing persistence and tremendous hard work have allowed her to progress significantly with her skills. In the AP course, Carrie has studied the lyrical drama of García Lorca and the dense prose of García Márquez. In her time here, she has gone from a shy, reticent freshman in Spanish 2 to a confident and proficient speaker and writer of the language. We are very happy to commend her achievement in the study of Spanish language and literature.
